QRiety as a QR TIGER alternative

The clearest difference is what you get for free and what unlimited costs. QR TIGER caps its free tier at 500 scans per code; QRiety allows 10,000 scans a month. QR TIGER charges US$89 a month for its top tier; QRiety’s top tier is 15 EUR a month with unlimited codes, unlimited scans and API access.

Figures for QR TIGER were read from their official pricing page on 6 August 2026. Prices change — check the source before making a decision. Where a value could not be read from their page, the table says so rather than guessing.

Where QR TIGER is the better choice

  • A much larger feature surface: white labelling, team seats, custom subdomains and bulk generation in the hundreds.
  • More QR design templates and frame styles out of the box.
  • A longer track record and a bigger support organisation.

Where QRiety is the better choice

  • The free plan is usable in the real world — 10,000 scans a month instead of 500 per code.
  • Unlimited codes and unlimited scans cost 15 EUR a month, not US$89.
  • API access is on the 15 EUR plan rather than a US$37 tier.
  • EU company, servers in Germany, billed in EUR — no currency conversion and no transatlantic data transfer to reason about.

Questions

Is QRiety cheaper than QR TIGER?

For unlimited codes and scans, yes, by a wide margin: 15 EUR a month against US$89 a month for QR TIGER’s Professional tier. At the entry level the gap is smaller — QR TIGER’s Regular plan is US$7 for 12 dynamic codes, QRiety’s Starter is 8 EUR for 25 codes with unlimited scans.

What is the catch with QR TIGER’s free plan?

The scan cap. You get 3 dynamic codes, but each one stops tracking after 500 scans. For a café table tent or a shop window that is a few weeks of use. QRiety’s free plan allows 10,000 scans a month across your codes.

Can I move my existing QR TIGER codes to QRiety?

Printed codes cannot be transferred, because the short link inside them points at the other provider’s domain. What you can do is recreate the codes in QRiety and, where the old ones are still editable, point them at the new destination for a transition period.

Which one should I pick?

If you need white labelling, team seats or bulk generation in the hundreds, QR TIGER has the larger feature set. If you want generous limits at a low price and EU-based data handling, QRiety is the better fit.

Try it before deciding

The free plan needs no credit card, and static codes can be generated on the homepage without an account at all.
