What is a google review qr code?
A Google review QR code takes a customer straight to your review form — the five-star dialog opens on their phone with one scan. Without it they have to search your business, open the profile, scroll to reviews and tap "Write a review"; most people give up somewhere in the middle.
How to create one
- 1Open your Google Business Profile and copy your review link (Profile → Ask for reviews).
- 2Paste it into the generator above.
- 3Use a dynamic code if you may switch locations or campaigns later — you keep the printed code and change the destination.
- 4Print it where the customer is already happy: at the counter after a good service, not on the way in.
Where it is used
- —Counter and checkout cards in shops, salons and workshops
- —Restaurant table tents and receipt inserts
- —Delivery notes, invoices and packaging inserts
- —Follow-up emails and thank-you cards after a service call
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my Google review link?
In your Google Business Profile, choose "Ask for reviews" — Google generates a short link that opens the review dialog directly. You can also build it from your Place ID.
Is it against Google policy to ask for reviews with a QR code?
Asking customers for reviews is allowed. What is not allowed is offering incentives for reviews, filtering out unhappy customers (review gating) or reviewing your own business.
Can I track how many people scanned the review code?
Only with a dynamic code. A dynamic QR code records every scan with device, country and referrer, so you can compare the counter card against the receipt insert.
Where should I place a review QR code?
At the moment of satisfaction — the counter after checkout, the table after the meal, the invoice after a completed job. Placement at entry points performs poorly because the customer has nothing to review yet.
